We keep on banging on about it here at SuperFeast HQ - we are huge on slowing down. On getting back to the basics, on taking time to breathe, feel and just be. The effects of stress are not worth it! We believe super strongly in the art of cultivating your own personal practice, check out how to do that here!

 

Sure, maybe it IS easier living and working from one of the most beautiful places in the world - Byron Bay ;P, but we came across this list and had to share it with you. We promise, there will be something in here for you!! 

 

Without further ado, we present:

 

51 Ways To De-Stress 

  1. Take a bath
  2. Light a candle or incense 
  3. Eat a meal in silence – yes, really. It might feel weird at first, but give it a go! salad
  4. Listen to a guided relaxation
  5. Take deep belly breathes
  6. Write in a journal
  7. Walk outside, go nature bathing nature
  8. Dance
  9. Examine an everyday object with new eyes schizandra-farm-fresh-berries
  10. Color in something
  11. Do some gentle movement movement
  12. Listen to music
  13. Lie down with your legs up against the wall – we love this position, helps support and nourish our overworked adrenals 
  14. Read a book (not a text book, not to ‘learn’)
  15. Meditate prayer
  16. Notice your body, really feel it
  17. Go for a jog
  18. Turn off all electronics
  19. Drive somewhere new
  20. Make some music
  21. Paint something 
  22. Take a nap
  23. Let out a nice big sigh - ahhhhhhhh
  24. Take a bike ride
  25. Swing on a swing, it’s magical! 
  26. Climb a tree chaga-mushroom-tree
  27. Write a poem

  29. Go to a farmer’s market
  30. Pat something furry pets
  31. Watch dogs play together
