Hazelnut & Blueberry Chocolate Dipped Bliss Balls

These delicious Hazelnut and Blueberry Chocolate Dipped Bliss Balls will make your mouth water - not only are they delicious, but they are spiked with SuperFeast Tremella and SuperFeast Reishi so you're sneaking in a dose of delicious medicinal mushrooms with each morsel. Yum! This recipes is vegan, paleo and refined sugar-free.

Queen of the herbs, Reishi is used to support the immune system, relieve stress and ground the nervous system, strengthen the spirit (the shen), calm the mind and promote peaceful sleep. Paired with Tremella and added to these dreamy Bliss Balls you will have yourself some seriously delicious and nourishing treats. 

Ingredients

  • 2 tsp SuperFeast Tremella
  • 1 tsp SuperFeast Reishi 
  • 1 cup dried blueberries
  • 3/4 cup hazelnut liqueur 
  • 3 cups dessicated coconut
  • 2 cups almond meal 
  • 1/2 cup cacao powder
  • 1/2 cup coconut butter 
  • 1/4 cup coconut nectar 
  • 1 tsp cinnamon 
  • 1tsp vanilla powder
  • 1/4 tsp cardamom 
  • 1/4 tsp salt

 

Method

  1. Soak the dried blueberries in the hazelnut liqueur overnight
  2. combine all dried ingredients in a food processor until mixed through
  3. Drain blueberries, and add the liquid and all other wet ingredients to the dry mix in processor
  4. Process until it forms a rollable mixture
  5. Fold through the blueberries, mix by hand before rolling
  6. Add a whole hazelnut in the middle of the ball
  7. Melt some dark chocolate or tempered raw chocolate
  8. Dip the balls in the chocolate and roll in crushed hazelnuts
