Tremella Clay Face Mask (Recipe by Iris Surrland)

ffirmations are a powerful tool in self-care sessions. They are positive statements that can help you overcome negative thoughts and emotions and replace them with positive ones. Using affirmations regularly can help you build confidence, reduce stress, and improve your overall well-being. During a self-care session, affirmations can help you focus on your positive qualities and remind you of your worth. You can say affirmations out loud or silently to yourself, and you can customize them to fit your specific needs and goals.

Some examples of affirmations that you might use during a self-care session include "I am worthy of love and respect," "I am strong and capable," and "I am deserving of happiness and fulfillment." By repeating these affirmations regularly, you can begin to believe them and internalize them, which can have a powerful impact on your mental and emotional health. In addition to using affirmations during a self-care session, you can also incorporate them into your daily routine. You might write them down in a journal, post them on your bathroom mirror, or recite them to yourself during your morning commute. By making affirmations a regular part of your life, you can continue to reap the benefits of their positive effects on your well-being.

My brain is always active and it’s difficult for me to calm down the mind. So I love using the affirmation “I am worthy of self-care and rest” during moments of self-care. This helps me be in the moment and fully enjoy taking care of myself without feeling rushed.

I really like making my own products, here is the face mask I have been making recently. Tremella mushroom is the key ingredient in this recipe. Not only does it have many health benefits when consumed, such as boosting the immune system and improving skin health, but it can also be used topically to nourish and hydrate the skin. The clay powder in this recipe helps to detoxify the skin by drawing out impurities, while the raw honey provides antibacterial properties and helps to soothe and hydrate the skin.

Never heard of Tremella?
Tremella mushroom, also known as snow fungus, has been used in traditional Chinese medicine for centuries due to its various health benefits. When consumed, it is believed to promote healthy skin, hair, and nails, as well as support the immune system and promote overall well-being. Tremella mushroom is also a popular ingredient in skincare products due to its hydrating properties. It is believed to help retain moisture in the skin and improve its elasticity, which can help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Tremella mushroom extract is often used in face masks, serums, and moisturizers to promote healthy, glowing skin. Overall, Tremella mushroom is a versatile ingredient that can provide numerous benefits both internally and externally. I love using it internally and topically.
